Meet The Team

Bernie is the Curator of the Light Horse & Field Artillery Museum. He is a coach builder, wheelwright and blacksmith and started as an improver to the trade when he was just 14 years old.

Frances co-founded the Light Horse & Field Artillery Museum with Bernie. Frances is an Arabian Horse breeder with a passion for the care of all animals.

Edward is the Project Manager for the Light Horse and Field Artillery Museum managing off site events and security. He is an Electronics Technician and business owner.

Tamara is the Team Manager for the Light Horse and Field Artillery Museum managing teams and logistics for off site events. Tamara is a business owner.

Rick has been a volunteer at the museum for many years assisting in the museum, riding at events and providing transport for the horses and exhibits.

Kirk has been a volunteer at the museum for many years assisting in the museum, at events and also providing transport for the horses and exhibits. Kirk is a Logistics Support Consultant.

Henk has been a volunteer at the museum for many years assisting in the museum, at events and also providing transport for the horses and exhibits. Henk is a business owner and a qualified builder.

Martin has been a volunteer at the museum for a number of years assisting in the museum and at events. Martin has been an integral part of our design and construction team and is a business owner in the fabrication industry.

Colin has been a volunteer at the museum for many years assisting in the museum and at events. Colin has an in-depth knowledge of military history and has assembled a significant personal collection of military artefacts.

Alex has been a volunteer at the museum for a number of years assisting in the museum, fundraising and at events. Alex is a space education consultant.
